QA Air Conditioning Mitsubishi (Intesis) is an application for integrating Mitsubishi air conditioners into the SHE system via the Intesis HVAC gateway of the Home Automation, AC Gateways 1x1 type. The application enables full status reading and control of the air conditioner and is an integral part of the unified ecosystem of room climate control and consumption management.

The Intesis gateway can be dedicated to a specific air conditioner type or universal. Compatibility is determined by the HVAC protocol — it has not been tested on all specific device types.

The application turns a Mitsubishi air conditioner into an intelligent element of the smart home. You no longer need to worry about manually switching heating/cooling modes, watching for open windows, or deciding when to run the air conditioner during photovoltaic surpluses. The system handles it automatically.
It cooperates with the global climate mode to select the summer, winter or transitional mode, and thanks to the connection to QA Profile Control, the whole system can be switched to Vacation or Visit mode with a single click.

🪟 Cooperation with window ventilation

The application is closely linked to automatic and manual window ventilation:

  • When a window is opened, air conditioner operation is temporarily switched off (energy saving)
  • When cooling is requested, the application first closes automatic windows and only then starts the air conditioner
  • It coordinates with applications for cooling and precooling the building by opening windows at night or in the morning

Cooperation with QA Consumption Control

When connected to QA Consumption Control, the application reacts to a surplus of selected energy — it automatically starts preheating or precooling of the room to the set temperatures for consumption control. You save on grid energy and make maximum use of surpluses from your photovoltaics.

  • Separate target temperatures for standard operation and operation with consumption control (Heating / Cooling)
  • Adjustable nominal power input of the air conditioner for energy balance calculation
  • Consumption control priority and phase selection for a correct energy balance
  • Option to enable / disable participation in consumption control separately for each season (Winter / Transitional / Summer)

  • Fibaro HC3 / HC3L control unit or Yubii Home / Yubii Home Pro
  • Mitsubishi air conditioner equipped with an Intesis HVAC Home Automation gateway (AC Gateways 1x1 — dedicated or universal variant)
  • The gateway and the control unit must be on the same local (LAN) network
  • SHE ecosystem applications installed and configured for the automatic functions (temperature, windows, profiles)
  • For the consumption control function, the system must include QA Consumption Control and energy metering

  • Compatibility is determined by the HVAC protocol of the Intesis gateway — it has not been tested on all specific Mitsubishi air conditioner types
