QA Shelly 3EM Sharing (ESG) is an application for metering consumption points during energy sharing in the SHE system. It receives data from three-phase Shelly 3EM electricity meters via MQTT and shows it in the control unit — energy (total, per period, per hour and today), power, voltage, current and energy per phase, and total power, current and energy. One application serves several meters.

💼 Business presentation

The Shelly meter at the consumption point is added to the SHE cloud account and data transmission over MQTT is set up by SHE service — in the application you only tick the meters you want to process. The application is tied to a sharing license (SSE) and shows its number, the name of the sharing group and its validity. It works together with other applications in the SHE system to ensure unified optimal control.

📡 Shelly meters and MQTT

Data from the meters arrives via MQTT. The Shelly meter at the consumption point is added to the SHE cloud account and data transmission is set up by SHE service. The models used are Shelly 3EM-63W Gen3 and Shelly 3EM-63T Gen3 (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), Shelly Pro 3EM with 120 A or 400 A current transformers and Shelly Pro 3EM-3CT63 (LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth). We recommend enabling automatic firmware updates on the meters.

🧾 Sharing license (SSE)

On the Installation card and on the main application card you can see the License Validity, SSE Number and SSE Name (the name of the sharing group).

📈 Measured values

For each selected meter, a tile with the total energy (kWh) is shown on the unit desktop. When you open the card you will see:

• Energy Period, Energy Hour, Energy Today and Energy Total, including the Period time (elapsed time of the current quarter-hour period)
• Power, Voltage, Current and Energy per phase (Phase R, Phase S, Phase T) and Total
• Update — time of the last value reading

🧰 Settings

On the Installation card, tick the consumption-point meters in the SUPPLY LOCATIONS field. The Update button loads the device list, Connection Status shows the connection to MQTT, and the Connect / Disconnect buttons let you control it manually. Save the settings with the SAVE button.

• Valid sharing license (SSE)
• A free slot for uploading the application in the control unit

⚠️ Important information

• Adding the meter to the SHE cloud and setting up MQTT is done by SHE service
• We recommend verifying the functionality with the TRIAL version before deployment
