QA Ampero MOD-4DI
Expand your system with 4 new digital inputs. The application ensures integration of the AMPERO MOD-4DI module via the Modbus protocol. Offers automatic device creation for individual inputs and the option to choose reading interval. Result? Easy state monitoring and integration of external signals without complex programming.

⚡🔌 QA AMPERO MOD-4DI
QA AMPERO MOD-4DI is an application designed for reading states from the AMPERO MOD-4DI expansion module.
This tool addresses the need to increase the number of digital inputs in an installation and enables easy monitoring of external device states.
The application automatically manages the creation of child devices for all 4 digital inputs.
💼 Business Presentation
An ideal solution for installations where you need to expand the number of inputs beyond the capabilities of the central unit.
The application saves time for installation technicians – you don't have to manually create each device separately. After connection and configuration, the application takes care of creating the appropriate elements in the system, which you can immediately see and use in automation.
📊 Analysis and Data Management
For clear visualization, working with measurement history, and graphs we recommend integration with SCADA Mervis.

⚠️ Note
The application communicates directly with the module via ModbusTCP/ModbusRTU converter (not included in delivery).
Important: The application does not include bus operation control on a single ModbusRTU bus. With a higher number of devices on the bus or when setting too small an interval between readings, collisions may occur.
We therefore recommend selecting a reading interval that prevents collisions and ensures stable communication.
⚙️ Key Features
✅ Simple Input Integration
- Automatic child device creation: The application automatically generates devices for individual inputs in the system.
- Selection of reading periods: Option to set the value reading interval to optimize bus load.
- Input selection and management: Option to select which child devices (for DI) should be used/displayed in the system.
- Instant overview: Quick information on the status of connected contacts or sensors.
✨ Typical Uses
- Expanding the number of inputs in a control cabinet.
- State monitoring: Monitoring status contacts (e.g., motor operation, fault reports, door/window opening).
- Connecting buttons and switches to a smart home system.
- Integrating signals from security systems or other technologies.
🔌 Operating Conditions
- Installed AMPERO MOD-4DI module.
- ModbusTCP/ModbusRTU converter for communication with the module.
- Properly designed network topology and configured reading intervals.
- Free slot for uploading the application to the control unit (controller).
🧰 Setup and Configuration
- Selection of reading period (polling rate) with regard to collision prevention.
- Selection of child devices for digital inputs.
