QA EASTRON SDM230 Sharing (ESG) is an advanced application for communicating with and reading values from the single-phase EASTRON SDM230 ModbusRTU electricity meter.
It makes it easy to integrate consumption, production and grid parameter metering into your smart home or measurement and control system.
The application automatically creates child devices for metering the given consumption point.
In the ESG variant, it meters the consumption of individual consumption points (CP), assigns them via UnitID and links them to the sharing license (SSE) as a basis for energy sharing and crediting in the EDC.

Setting the parameters directly on the installation card (Modbus group, UnitID, SSE license) saves you time when commissioning the system.
No complicated data parsing – the application gives you ready-made values (voltage, current, power, energy) exactly as you need them.
In the ESG variant, it serves as the consumption point meter for energy sharing – the metered CP consumption feeds into the sharing applications (recommended QA Energy Sharing Apartment Buildings, alternatively QA Energy Sharing Spot Duo).

• Valid sharing license (SSE) and CP registration in the EDC (for the ESG variant).
• An associated sharing application – e.g. QA Energy Sharing Apartment Buildings.
