QA Ventilation Komfovent C6 is an application for integrating the Komfovent C6 ventilation unit into the SHE system. You can use it just for reading values, for manual control of the unit and its modes, or for complex integration of ventilation operation into the smart home — the unit then changes its behavior according to the heating season, time of day, alarm arming state, open windows and air quality.

💼 Business presentation

The application turns the heat recovery unit into a full-fledged part of the smart home. In spring and autumn you no longer have to readjust temperature control, free cooling or heat recovery — the application sets them itself according to the season. At night it can ventilate only the part of the house where people sleep, and thanks to the air quality sensor in the bedroom it keeps the air fresh without unnecessarily high fan output. It works together with other applications in the SHE system to ensure unified optimal control.

🧩 Role in the SHE system

The application works together with other applications of the climate control ecosystem:

• QA Global Climate Mode — automatically sets the ventilation presets according to the annual mode (Winter / Transitional / Summer)
• QA Profile Control — time of day, absence and the Vacation and Visit modes

🌙 New ventilation modes

• Living room flaps — in night mode the application closes the dampers of the living areas and the unit ventilates only the part of the house where people sleep
• External Quality — custom ventilation output control based on external air quality sensors. Add an air quality sensor, e.g. Netatmo, to the bedroom and the application ventilates so that the room keeps the set air quality; flow limits separately for day and night

🍂 Automation by season

The application changes the unit presets according to the annual climate mode — e.g. in winter it controls to the supply temperature, in summer to the exhaust temperature, free cooling is disabled in winter and permanent recuperation in summer. For each season you set separately the source of the setpoint temperature, the control method, the functions of the Eco mode, heater enabling and the limits of the supply temperature.

• Reaction to open windows with selection of windows separately for morning, day, evening and night
• Reaction to smoke sensors — switching the ventilation unit to the selected mode
• Mode selection for alarm arming states, absence, time of day, Vacation and Visit

🎛️ Overview and manual control

The main card shows a diagram of the unit with temperatures, flows, air quality, heat recovery efficiency and the state of all modes. On the Manual control card you have complete control of the unit — operating state, ventilation mode (AWAY, NORMAL, INTENSIVE, BOOST), temperature control, the Auto, Eco and Quality modes and the setting of flows and temperatures for individual modes, including Kitchen, Fireplace and Vacation.

• For automatic mode, installed applications of the SHE ecosystem and sensors (windows, CO2, smoke)
• A free slot for uploading the application in the control unit
