🧠 Superior system and communication

The supervising system is the Fibaro Home Center 3 Lite (HC3L) control unit.
Communication with the inverter runs over the Modbus TCP protocol in the local Wi-Fi network.
The system natively works with the irradiance forecast (PV forecast), enabling smart decisions about water heating even in changeable weather.

🧩 Software layer (Package contents)

The kit contains complete software logic (Quick Apps) for Fibaro system:

• QA Inverter: QA Inverter ensures comprehensive monitoring of energy flows in real-time and serves as a tool for active control of operating modes of inverter and battery storage.
• QA EMS: Represents central logic for dynamic control of facility energy balance which intelligently prioritizes use of PV surpluses among individual consumers to achieve maximum energy self-sufficiency.
• QA Boiler: QA Boiler: Ensures intelligent management of water heating in tanks using continuous or switched regulation while efficiently combining PV surpluses and time schedules to achieve maximum savings and thermal comfort.
• QA Shelly: Connection and control of power module Shelly.
• Irradiance forecast: QA PV Forecast (no annual fees) – can be extended with the paid Solcast License (guaranteed data quality and availability).
• Optional: Option to purchase the QA DHW Mode application for advanced time-based heating scheduling.
